PCA Family Sports Day
Feb 28, 2016Sports day to be held at the Mount Claremont Oval. We have use of the grounds from 12.00pm to 5.00pm
Sports for the Day: Windball Cricket, Sack Races, Egg and Spoon Races, Three Legged race, 25, 50 possibly 100m races. Football if time permits
Everyone is responsible for their own food and drink. We have permission to consume alcohol but this has to be done responsibly.
There will be a sample table so community members can walk with marketing material for their business/skill to display. Absolutely no selling as we don’t have permission from the council to engage in commercial activity.
Schedule for the day
12.00 to 12.15 pm Sack Races
12.15 to 12.30 pm Egg and Spoon races
12.30 to 12.45 pm 3 Legged Races
12.45 to 1.30 pm 25, 50 and 100m Races
1.30 to 2.00 pm Lunch and Samples
2.00 to 4.00pm Cricket Game
4.00 to 5.00pm Football if time permits
Cricket Teams: Team 1 – Trinidad, Barbados, St Vincent
Team 2 – Jamaica, St. Lucia, Guyana subject to change on the day
Members please walk along with any of the following items; extra sacks for races, cricket bats, cricket balls, wickets, any games and activities to keep the younger children occupied.
PCA has agreed to use leftover sausages and drinks from the sizzle from the day before at the function as refreshments but we will have a donation tin for any members that want to make a contribution.
