PCA Community Spirit Campaign – Foodbank

Feb 10, 2018

Clear out your kitchen cupboards, pack up canned and packet foods, and donate them to our community campaign, in collaboration with FoodBank!

On Saturday 10th February, we will be having a ‘Meet and Greet’ picnic at Kings Park.
As part of our ‘Community Spirit Campaign’ we kindly asking you to donate or sponsor canned/packet food, and bring it along with you to the picnic for collection by Foodbank, to give to those who would really benefit from it 🙏🏽

What is Foodbank?

Foodbank is by far, the largest hunger relief organisation in Australia

Last year alone, they provided enough food for over 63 million meals.

Foodbank is a non-denominational, non-profit organisation which acts as a pantry to the charities and community groups who feed the hungry. It’s a conduit between the food industry’s surplus food and the welfare sector’s need.
